Question. How you able to provide your service free?

Answer.   AptAve.com acts as an apartment locating service and is paid a referral fee by the apartment community.

Question. How do I Qualify for a Cash Rebate?

Answer.   To qualify for a cash rebate you must register with AptAve.com. You will then be required by each apartment community to fill out a guest card and should you lease, you will then fill out a rental application. Both the guest cards and rental application must have AptAve.com as the referral source. Once you have completed your rental process simply report your lease information to AptAve.com. Remember to include your apartment number, your lease term, your rental amount and your move in date.

Question. What if I cannot find the apartment community in the AptAve.com database?

Answer.   AptAve.com works with most of the apartment communities in Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin and Houston. In the event that you would like information on an apartment community that you cannot find in our database, then you should contact one of our Personal Leasing Consultants (PLC) for assistance.

Question. What if I move to a "sister property" that is owned and operated by the same management company as my current community, will I qualify for a rebate?

Answer.   Unfortunately, you will not be eligable for a rebate.  Management companies refuse to pay us if you move to a different apartment community that is owned and/or operated by them.

Question. Does using your service affect my rental rate or any move-in special?

Answer.   No. Your rental rate and any move-in special will not be affected. Actually, our experienced Personal Leasing Consultants (PLC) will check rental rates and availability and let you know which apartment communities can save you hundreds or even thousands.

Question. How long does it take to receive the rebate?

Answer.   You must first report your lease by completing the online rebate request form.   We will mail your rebate to your new address once we have received payment from the property. This generally takes between 3-10 weeks depending on the management company.

Question. Is it safe to live at this apartment community and is this area safe?

Answer.   No matter where you live, you'll want to feel safe. There are no guarantees that you'll never be a victim of crime, but you can take some steps to help protect yourself.

  • a keyless deadbolt or keyless bolting device on all exterior doors
  • a peephole or clear glass pane in all exterior doors
  • a keyed deadbolt or door handle lock on a main entry door
  • a pin lock on each sliding glass door
  • either a door handle latch or a security bar on each sliding glass door
  • a window latch on each window

If you are concerned about crime at the property or in the area, ask management and check with the local police department for any information it can provide about reported crimes or incidents. The law requires rental agents and managers to answer all questions truthfully.
